Candle care

Our sculptural candles are intended for decorative use. If you choose to light them, please read the burning instructions and safety recommendations below. The irregular shape and size of the candles may result in varying burn times. Each candle is individually handcrafted, and like the ancient and modern sculptures that inspire them, minor imperfections such as micro air bubbles or a slight frost may occur.

We recommend following these tips when burning a new candle:

• Before lighting a sculptural candle, place it on a plate or candle tray to catch any wax that may drip.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended while sleeping or out of the room. If you plan to leave the room or go to sleep, extinguish all candles first. If possible, use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame, as it’s the safest way to avoid splattering hot wax.
• Do not burn the candle all the way to the end. For safety, stop burning the candle when about 1 cm of wax remains.
• Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
• Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets.
• When not in use, store the candle away from direct sunlight and heat sources, as this may cause discoloration.
