CANDLE CARE

Our sculpture candles are intended for decorative use. If you decide to light them, please read the burning instructions and safety recommendations below. The irregular shape and size of the candles may cause varying burn times. Each candle is individually handcrafted and, like the ancient and modern sculptures that inspire them, may have minor imperfections such as micro-bubbles or a light frost.

We recommend following these tips when burning a new candle:

• Before lighting a sculpture candle, place it on a plate or candle holder to catch any dripping wax.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended while you are sleeping or outside the room. If you plan to leave the room or go to sleep, extinguish all candles first. If possible, use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame, as this is the safest way to avoid splashing hot wax.
• Do not burn the candle all the way down. For safety reasons, stop burning the candle when there is about 1 cm of wax left.
• Never burn a candle on or near anything that could catch fire.
• Keep the candle out of the reach of children and pets.
• When not in use, keep the candle away from direct sunlight and heat sources as this may cause discoloration.
